Final Fantasy VIII - SeeD Ranks
You can increase your SeeD rank by taking tests that can be accessed from the Tutorial Menu; each test is comprised of 10 true or false questions based on the world of FFVIII. You must answer all 10 questions correctly to raise Squall's SeeD Rank. There is no penalty for failing a test and you can take the tests as many times as required in order to pass.
Each Written Test is assigned a level, Squall can take tests up to the level he currently is; if Squall is at Level 15, he can take written tests of Level 15 or lower. There are 30 tests in total and you can pass each test once, so do not take any tests that you do not need to when maxing out Squalls SeeD Salary; you may want some left in case Squall's Rank drops later in the game.
