Final Fantasy IX - Weapons
There are 13 types of weapons in Final Fantasy IX. Playable characters have particular weapons they can use and can;t be equipped with weapons they are not compatible with.
Some weapons have an elemental type, some deal status effects, most unlock special abilities and one even gives an elemental weaknesses to the user.
The weapon types are:
